That moment marked the beginning of our friendship and the birth of our partnership. Chris offered to find Salvation Army Corps that might like to run a Music Man Project. The Music Man Project and The Salvation Army UK have been thriving together ever since.

I will never stop championing the arts. This mission is lifelong, and I will continue to use my platform to uplift, inspire, and drive lasting change. Serving as a Disability and Access Ambassador has reaffirmed my belief that the UK stands as a global beacon for accessible arts and culture.

From a misnamed Mazurka to a global movement in accessible music education, my journey with King’s College London has been anything but ordinary. In this blog, I reflect on the moment that changed everything—and challenge fellow alumni to turn their memories into momentum. King’s gave us the tools. Now it’s our turn to play it forward.
